MORE INFORMATION ON GHANAIAN VISAS

A single entry visa is valid for entry into Ghana within three (3) months   i.e., the visa expires if not used to travel within three months from the date of issue.

Multiple entry visa endorsed for one year (12 months), for example, means that the applicant is granted unlimited entries into Ghana within twelve (12) months. It does not entitle the applicant to enter and remain in Ghana for 12 months.

In both cases (single and multiple), the actual period permitted for stay in Ghana shall be determined by the Immigration officials at the point of entry into Ghana, usually sixty (60) days.

If an applicant desires to stay longer than the given period, he or she is advised to extend the duration of his or her stay at the Ghana Immigration Service in Accra.
