Welcome to the Chancery of the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Berlin, Germany.

This Embassy, which is one of several other Ghana Diplomatic Missions in Europe, is responsible for Germany. It is also concurrently accredited to Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The Republic of Ghana gained independence on the 6th of March, 1957 and established diplomatic relations with Germany the following year. Since then, the two countries have had close co-operation of a comprehensive nature.

During the era of East and West Germany, Ghana maintained Missions in the two (2) German States in Bonn and East Berlin. The Mission in East Berlin was closed following the restoration of German unity. The Mission relocated from Bonn to Berlin in December 2002/ January 2003, and operates as follows:
